General conditions regarding activities and packages booked through Orca Lofoten AS / GoArctic (the company)
For activities and packages presented through www.orca-lofoten.no, the company is to be considered the service provider. All reservations made are thus considered agreements between the customer and the company. All correspondence in the case of confirmations, alterations or possible reclamations are to be clarified by the two contract parties.  
General sales conditions are stated below. Please be advised that special conditions may be required for some activities, longer trips and accommodation. A listing is provided at the end of this document.  

Reservations
Reservation of daytrip activities or packages is done through our website www.orca-lofoten.no.


Terms of payment and cancellations

Cancellation fees 

No fee for cancellation 30 days or more before start/departure
50%  cancellation fee for cancellation 15-29 days before start/departure
100% cancellation fee 0-14 days before start/departure

If the weather doesn’t allow the boats to go out on the sea, Orca Lofoten will offer alternative activity same day, or the guests can do the safari the following day (if they have got the time). The alternative can differ, depending on the size of the group, but usually it is a guided bus tour with lunch included.

Customer’s obligations
Participants are obliged to get acquainted with the terms of sales for the given activity/package. Participants must also obey and adhere to all instructions issued by the activity provider or the tour guide.

Customer’s responsibility and liability
Participants are responsible for deciding whether they are physically and/or psychically capable of participating in the booked activities or not. The activity provider is under no circumstances liable for accidents and injuries that are outside the company’s control. If activities are delayed, changed or cancelled due to participants not following instructions given by the activity provider or the tour guide, the participant in question may be held financial responsible for any additional expenses.

The activity provider reserves the right to deny participation of any person if considered a risk for safety, or behaving in such a way that they disturb other participants.

Insurance
The activity provider is covered through insurance in its insurance company. Participants are recommended to have personal travel insurance. Whether the participants have personal travel insurance or not is the responsibility of the participant.

Change of programme/unforeseen events
The activity provider reserves the right to change departure times or cancel an activity up to departure in the case of not obtaining the minimum number of participants. See brochures or web for minimum number. The operator also reserves the right to cancel the entire activity up to start due to weather conditions, force majeure or other events out off the control of the activity provider that may prevent the activity from taking place. If unforeseen circumstances/weather conditions necessitate changes in routes in relation to the programme, this will not affect the price of the activity.

Reservations
Orca Lofoten AS is not to be held responsible for printing errors or changes in the programme or prices on www.orca-lofoten.no, or any printing errors of the programmes of cooperating tour-operators or agents.

-Accommodation 
-Mountain hikes summer and winter
-Guided top tour ski

Safaris, excursions, and other products, if a package is ordered, have to be prepaid by upon receipt of booking-confirmation.
